Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero has revealed that he would love to play in La Liga at some point in his career.

According to information available to Softfootball, the Argentina international has attracted interest from clubs in Spain, with speculation over his future continuing to grow.

Romero has established himself as an important player for Tottenham since arriving in the Premier League and has also played a key role for Argentina at international level.

The centre-back’s comments are likely to fuel further speculation about a possible move to Spain, particularly given his previous links with some of the country’s biggest clubs.

Romero admitted that playing in La Liga would appeal to him, although he remains focused on his current responsibilities with Tottenham.

The defender has developed a reputation for his aggressive defending, composure on the ball and ability to compete at the highest level.

A potential move to Spain would represent another significant chapter in his career, but any transfer would depend on negotiations between the interested club and Tottenham.

For now, Romero remains under contract in north London and is expected to continue playing a key role for Spurs.
