Inter Milan have opened direct talks with Cristian Romero’s representatives as they intensify efforts to sign the Tottenham Hotspur defender this summer.
Negotiations are now progressing on both the club and player sides, although Inter are aware that completing the deal will be challenging due to the significant financial package required to prise the Argentina international away from North London.
