Manchester City Continue Winning Run With 5-0 Rout of Norwich

Manchester City continued their impressive run of form with a dominant 5-0 victory over Norwich City in the Carabao Cup at the Etihad Stadium.

Floyd Samba opened the scoring in the 29th minute, heading home from close range after an assist from Allan. Rayan Cherki doubled City’s advantage three minutes later with a composed finish from outside the box.

Allan then marked his first start for Manchester City with a goal in the 48th minute, finding the bottom corner after another assist from Rayan Aït-Nouri. Samba added his second in the 54th minute before Ryan McAidoo completed the scoring in the 90th minute.

Softfootball reports that the result further extends Manchester City’s positive momentum after their recent 1-0 victory over Coventry City, where Erling Haaland reached 300 career club goals. The latest win also gives City three consecutive victories as they continue to build momentum.

City controlled the game with 66% possession and limited Norwich to just two shots off target, while the visitors failed to register a shot on target.
