Manchester City are reportedly monitoring Atlético Madrid midfielder Álex Baena as the club continues to assess potential options to strengthen its squad.
According to Football Insider, City are admirers of the 25-year-old and are considering him as a possible future addition, particularly as an option capable of providing quality on the left flank.
However, any move for Baena is not currently expected to be pursued during the January transfer window unless Manchester City decide that additional reinforcements are required.
