Official club-to-club negotiations have begun between Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain over a potential transfer for Bradley Barcola.

At the end of July, Softfootball reported that Liverpool were preparing to submit their first official bid for Barcola after leading the race for his signature since April.

Liverpool have indicated an opening offer worth more than €100 million, although the proposal remains well below PSG’s asking price. Despite the gap in valuation, discussions between the two clubs are now underway as the Reds intensify their pursuit of the French winger.

Barcola is understood to favour a move to Anfield, having identified Liverpool as his preferred destination since May. While personal terms have not yet been finalised, the 23-year-old remains keen on joining the Premier League champions if the two clubs can reach an agreement.

The Merseyside club remain confident they are in a strong position to complete the deal, but further negotiations will be required to bridge the significant gap between Liverpool’s valuation and PSG’s demands before any transfer can be finalised.
