Liverpool were held to a goalless draw by Fulham in a tightly contested Premier League encounter at Anfield, with both sides creating opportunities but lacking the finishing touch.

Liverpool dominated possession early on and controlled much of the game, but Fulham remained dangerous on the counter. Alexander Isak went close inside the opening 10 minutes, while Victor Muñoz forced a stunning save from Bernd Leno with a powerful header.

Fulham also threatened through Joshua King and Gonzalo García, but Alisson produced important saves to keep Liverpool level. The best chance of the second half fell to King, whose effort from the edge of the box was brilliantly stopped by Alisson.

Liverpool pushed late for a winner, with Dominik Szoboszlai seeing a free-kick blocked before Rio Ngumoha fired over in stoppage time. The referee eventually blew for full-time with neither side able to break the deadlock.

Softfootball reports that the result leaves Liverpool frustrated after dominating possession but struggling to convert their attacking pressure into goals.
