AC Milan secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Udinese at San Siro on October 19, 2024, as Samuel Chukwueze’s 13th-minute goal proved enough to separate the sides, Softfootball reports. Chukwueze whose Nigeria’s side Edged Libya 1–0 in Uyo to Strengthen AFCON 2025 Qualification Push opened the scoring with a well-timed finish from a Christian Pulisic assist, giving Milan an early lead.

The Rossoneri then had to weather intense pressure after Reijnders was sent off in the 29th minute following a VAR review, leaving Milan down to ten men for the majority of the game.

Udinese struggled to convert their superior possession into clear-cut chances, managing only a single shot on target out of 11 attempts. Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan was called into action on a few occasions, making crucial saves to preserve the lead.
