AC Milan have officially submitted a bid to Paris Saint-Germain for Portuguese forward Gonçalo Ramos as they continue their search for a new attacking leader ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Rossoneri have identified Ramos as their primary target to strengthen the No.9 position under manager Massimiliano Allegri, with discussions progressing on personal terms through the striker’s representative Jorge Mendes.

Softfootball previously reported in May that there was growing possibility of Ramos leaving PSG this summer amid increasing competition for his signature. Several clubs have shown interest in the 25-year-old, who has struggled to secure a consistent starting role since joining the French champions from Benfica in 2023.

PSG paid a reported fee between €65 million and €80 million to bring Ramos to Paris, but despite showing flashes of quality, the Portugal international has often found himself used as a rotational option. During the 2025-26 Ligue 1 campaign, he recorded six goals, with limited opportunities restricting his impact.

Milan believe Ramos can provide the reliability they have been missing in attack and view him as a striker capable of leading the line on a regular basis. A move to Serie A would also offer Ramos the chance for more consistent starts and a bigger role in a team competing for domestic and European honours.

Negotiations between the clubs are expected to continue as Milan attempt to reach an agreement for one of their top attacking targets this summer.
