Borussia Dortmund has won the race to sign Fabio Silva from Wolves for a fee of €25million, Softfootball reports.
Dortmund beat competition from fellow Bundesliga side RB Leipzig and Serie A club AS Roma for the services of the Portuguese forward.

According to Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Fabio Silva will become a Dortmund player as soon as he passes his medical and signs his contract papers.
He wrote:
“Fabio Silva to Borussia Dortmund, here we go! Deal in place with all parties as medical has been booked.
“Fee over €25m package agreed with Wolves as BVB win race over several clubs also in Italy, as @TheAthleticFC reports.
“Five year deal for Silva at BVB.”
The 23-year-old has already said goodbye to his Wolves teammates and will now travel to Germany to finalise the move to Dortmund.
Fabio Silva arrived at the Molineux for £35m and despite having only a year left on his contract, Wolves insisted on €25 million and because of the bidding war among interested clubs, they got their wish.
Silva scored just five goals and six assists in 72 appearances for Wolves. But his reputation was only enhanced by the 10 goals and three assists in 24 matches in the 2024/25 LaLiga season for Las Palmas.
Interestingly, Silva has a total of 32 goals and nine assists from 101 loan appearances for Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven, Rangers and Las Palmas.
At Dortmund, Fabio Silva will be teammates with Serhou Guirassy, Karim Adeyemi and Carney Chukwuemeka in attack.
The money generated from the sale of Fabio Silva can now be reinvested in signing new strikers for Vitor Pereira’s Wolves before the end of the transfer window on September 1.
Wolves are already looking to bring in Girona defender Ladislav Krejci for a £26m deal, and also on their radar is Getafe forward Christantus Uche who is also attracting interest from Crystal Palace.
