FC Porto president André Villas-Boas has expressed shock about the reported links of Robert Lewandowski to Porto. This comes after Softfootball reported yesterday that Lewandowski and Barcelona new deal talks are on standby, with clubs from the Saudi Pro League and the Major League Soccer showing interest.

Italian clubs are also reportedly monitoring the situation, although they view him as too costly. Internal reports today confirmed that there were unconfirmed rumours yesterday suggesting Porto were still being linked with Lewandowski, which came as a big surprise to the club president.

In Villas-Boas’ message, he stated it is technically and financially impossible for Porto to sign Lewandowski or even consider such a move at this stage.
