In a post shared by Fabrizio Romano on his official X channel, Cristiano Ronaldo has acknowledged that the end of his legendary playing career is approaching while emphasizing the importance of enjoying every remaining moment on the pitch.
Speaking to CanalGOATBR, Ronaldo reflected on his longevity at the top level, stating that he now plays not only for current fans but also for past and future generations.
Romano shared:
Cristiano Ronaldo:
The end of my career is getting closer… let’s enjoy every game. I keep playing not only for this generation, but also for the previous one and the one coming next. I enjoy it day by day, game by game, year by year, even as I get closer to the end of my career. That’s a fact.
My career has been brilliant and I want to keep it that way. I still enjoy it, I keep scoring goals… but above all, it’s about winning. And we really want to win the league, told @CanalGOATBR.
Softfootball understands that despite being 41, the Al-Nassr forward continues to perform at a high level, scoring his 970th career goal with a precise header from a corner delivered by João Félix.

Ronaldo remains focused on winning trophies, particularly the Saudi Pro League title, as he continues to lead by example both on and off the pitch.
In a separate statement, the Portuguese star also addressed ongoing issues within the league, urging players to stop complaining about referees and avoid posting negativity on social media. He warned that such behavior undermines the league’s ambition to compete with Europe’s top competitions.
Cristiano Ronaldo: I see many bad things. Many players complain, speak about referees, post on social media… …this is NOT the goal of the Saudi Pro League. We should stop this if we want to compete with the best European leagues.
Following Al-Ahli Saudi FC’s 2–0 defeat to Al-Nassr, Ronaldo reiterated his message, stressing that football “is not a war” and calling for professionalism, calm, and focus on performance rather than controversy.

His comments highlight ongoing tensions within the league, with Ronaldo suggesting he may address broader concerns publicly at the end of the season.
