Former Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has been nominated for the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) Men’s World Best National Coach Award.

Peseiro earned the recognition following his impressive run with Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire, where he guided the Super Eagles to the final.

Softfootball understands that Nigeria finished as runners-up after suffering a 2-1 defeat to hosts Côte d’Ivoire in the tournament’s final, ending an impressive campaign that saw the Super Eagles emerge as one of the competition’s standout teams.
