Romelu Lukaku has officially joined Fenerbahçe from Napoli in a deal worth more than €6 million.
The Turkish club have completed the remaining formalities after receiving final approval to proceed with the transfer, with Lukaku now set to become Fenerbahçe’s latest attacking addition.
Softfootball previously reported that Fenerbahçe were closing in on an agreement for the Belgium international after Napoli accepted their second official proposal worth in excess of €6 million.
The remaining paperwork was subsequently completed, allowing the 33-year-old striker to officially make the move to Turkey. The Turkish giants are now working on the final steps required to complete the transfer.
Lukaku now begins a new chapter with Fenerbahçe as the club look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.
The move would see the experienced forward embark on another chapter of his career, with Fenerbahçe pushing to get the deal over the line as quickly as possible.
