Liverpool see Ronald Araújo as more than just a centre-back option, with the Uruguay international also expected to provide cover at right-back when required.

Earlier this morning, Softfootball confirmed that Liverpool had reached an agreement with Barcelona to sign Araújo on loan.
A verbal club-to-club agreement was reached and approved by Barcelona sporting director Deco, with Liverpool also completing the necessary documentation for the Uruguay international’s temporary move.
With the deal now progressing towards completion, Araújo is set to become another important defensive addition to Liverpool’s squad ahead of the new season.
