Liverpool have prepared a fresh bid for Yan Diomandé after their €100 million offer on June 18 was rejected. Softfootball understands from reliable sources that RB Leipzig insist on keeping Diomandé for one more season, even though the player prefers to leave now.

Diomandé joined Leipzig on 16 July 2025, signing a five‑year contract after the club activated his €20 million release clause. Just a month later, on 16 August, he scored his first goal for the club in a 4–2 away win over SV Sandhausen in the DFB‑Pokal.
Liverpool remain determined to bring the midfielder to Anfield, and the coming days are expected to be crucial as they push again to convince Leipzig.
