Softfootball can confirm that Liverpool are still considering the possibility of signing two wingers during the final two weeks of the summer transfer window.

The plan will depend largely on the situation surrounding Cody Gakpo, with Tottenham continuing talks over a potential move for the Liverpool forward.

Meanwhile, negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for Bradley Barcola remain ongoing, with no issues on the player’s side. Barcola has already given Liverpool the final green light on personal terms and remains keen on the move.

PSG have rejected two offers from Liverpool so far, worth €100 million and €110 million respectively. The French champions continue to demand a significantly higher fee, with their valuation understood to be at least €160 million.

Liverpool are currently pushing for a deal worth around £130 million, while PSG want closer to £150 million. Direct club-to-club negotiations will continue as both sides attempt to find a compromise.

Despite the possibility of adding two wingers, Rio Ngumoha is expected to remain at Liverpool and is not part of any plans to move him out of the squad.

The next two weeks could therefore be decisive for Liverpool’s attacking plans, with both the Gakpo situation and Barcola negotiations set to determine whether the Reds complete one or potentially two major winger additions.
