The home-based Super Eagles have concluded the second phase of their training camp as preparations continue for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifying fixture against Ghana’s Black Galaxies.
Softfootball understands that all 35 invited players have been released to rejoin their respective Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clubs for this weekend’s league fixtures before returning to the national team camp next week.
The players will resume preparations ahead of the crucial encounter with the Black Galaxies as the coaching crew intensifies efforts to fine-tune the squad.

The Home Eagles began camping last week as they stepped up preparations for the important qualifying ties against their West African rivals.
Assistant coach Daniel Ogunmodede expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far, stressing that returning to club action will help the players maintain their fitness and competitive edge.
According to Ogunmodede, regular game time in the NPFL will keep the players match-fit before they regroup to continue preparations for the decisive clashes against Ghana.
