Abdullahi Bewene made his senior international debut for Nigeria on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2–2 friendly draw against Poland in Warsaw. Now, he has been recalled for the crucial encounters as the Super Eagles continue preparations for the qualifiers.
