Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche has insisted Omar Marmoush is not for sale despite growing speculation linking the Egyptian forward with a move to Manchester City.

The Bundesliga club remain determined to keep one of their standout performers as they continue pushing for a strong finish to the season.

Marmoush has been one of Frankfurt’s key players this campaign, attracting interest with his impressive displays and important goals.

Speaking about the speculation, Krosche said:

I expect Omar to play against Freiburg on Tuesday as well. I can’t say that with 100 percent certainty that it wasn’t Marmoush’s last match. But the goal is to stick together in the squad, unless something extraordinary happens.

The Frankfurt chief’s comments underline the club’s determination to retain the Egypt international despite interest from Europe’s top clubs.

Marmoush is expected to remain fully focused on helping Frankfurt achieve their objectives while discussions over his future continue.
