Getafe midfielder Christantus Uche suffered a right‑knee contusion during their friendly match against AS Monaco. The 23‑year‑old was on the receiving end of a dangerous challenge from Christian Mawissa, who went in with his studs raised and caught Uche around the knee.
AS Monaco went on to defeat Getafe 1:0, thanks to the lone goal scored by Paris Brunner, who converted from the penalty spot in the 65th minute.
