Brighton Outclass United in Fiery Clash at Old Trafford

Brighton & Hove Albion produced a stunning performance to defeat Manchester United 3–1 at Old Trafford. Yankuba Minteh opened the scoring in the 5th minute, giving Brighton an early lead with an assist from Kaoru Mitoma softfootball reports.

Manchester United responded in the 23rd minute when Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty to level the score at 1–1.

However, Brighton regained control after the hour mark. Kaoru Mitoma put the visitors ahead in the 60th minute, followed by Georginio Rutter’s composed finish in the 76th minute, sealing the 3–1 win.

The match saw intense physicality with several yellow cards: Carlos Baleba (21′), Yankuba Minteh (43′), Manuel Ugarte (61′), Harry Maguire (90+5′), Leny Yoro (90+8′), and Solly March (90+8′).

Both teams made multiple tactical changes in the second half. Brighton introduced Rutter, March, Enciso, Diego Gómez, and Lamptey, while Manchester United brought on Garnacho, Collyer, Højlund, and Antony to try and turn the game around.
