The 20-year-old striker is expected to join the Premier League side after the two clubs reached an agreement over his transfer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Udoh has impressed with Antwerp’s reserve team this season, scoring 12 goals in 27 appearances. The versatile attacker is reportedly valued at around €600,000 by Transfermarkt.

His arrival would increase the number of Nigerian players at Southampton to three, with Super Eagles internationals Joe Aribo and Paul Onuachu already at the club.

Udoh joined Royal Antwerp from Nigerian grassroots side Hypebuzz FC in 2023 and has continued his development in Belgium.

The move could provide the youngster with an opportunity to take the next step in his career and compete for a place in Southampton’s senior squad.
