Liverpool manager Arne Slot says his players are more than equipped to deal with the pressure that comes with challenging for the Premier League title this season.
The Reds head into Saturday’s early kickoff against Everton at Goodison Park sitting seven points clear at the top of the table.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Slot explained why pressure is simply part of life at a club like Liverpool. He said:
I think if you play for Liverpool, every day you feel pressure because you play at a big club. Everybody expects two things from us, that we win and that we play good football.
Softfootball understands the Dutchman went on to explain that his squad actually thrives under that kind of expectation rather than being weighed down by it. He added:
If you play or work at this level, you like this pressure for the simple reason that players are able to do what is expected of them. It’s much harder if you have to stay above the relegation zone.
Slot’s comments reflect the growing belief inside Anfield that this Liverpool squad has both the mentality and quality to go all the way this season.
