Mohamed Salah has praised Liverpool’s outstanding attacking display in their thrilling 6-3 Premier League victory over Tottenham Hotspur but believes there is still room for improvement at the defensive end.
The Egyptian forward starred with two goals and two assists as Arne Slot’s side produced another clinical performance to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
Softfootball understands Salah was delighted with Liverpool’s attacking quality but admitted conceding three goals prevented the result from being a complete performance.

Reflecting on the entertaining encounter, Salah said:
We were quite good up front, but defensively we need to improve as a team. Conceding three goals is quite hard. It’s a good result, hopefully we just keep going.
The 32-year-old also explained why matches against Tottenham often become open, end-to-end contests due to Ange Postecoglou’s attacking philosophy.
We expected a chaotic game because of the way they play. They open the game, enjoy their football, and they’re physically and mentally tough. City came here and struggled too, so I’m happy we won.
Salah added.
