Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has admitted Arne Slot has impressed him far more than he expected since taking charge at Anfield last summer. Softfootball understands the Egyptian believes the Dutch coach’s tactical approach and attention to detail have played a major role in Liverpool’s impressive performances this season.
Slot replaced Jurgen Klopp ahead of the current campaign and has guided the Reds to the top of both the Premier League and Champions League standings.

Liverpool have also established themselves as one of Europe’s most consistent teams under the former Feyenoord manager.
Reflecting on their working relationship, Salah admitted he quickly realised Slot possessed exceptional coaching qualities, saying:
