Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou says his side’s focus has already shifted to Sunday’s Premier League clash with Liverpool, following their dramatic 4-3 Carabao Cup win over Manchester United.
The victory sent Spurs through to the semi-finals of the competition, with home and away legs still to come as they chase a place in the final.

Softfootball understands Postecoglou addressed the significance of the result while speaking to reporters after the match. He said:
We’re in a semi-final of a cup competition, so I think that’s something to reflect this progress for us, and we’ve got an opportunity now, home and away, to get to a final, and we’ve earned that opportunity.
The Australian coach was quick to stress that Sunday’s league fixture demands the same intensity his side have shown in recent weeks. He added:
It’s one to look forward to, but we’ve got important games starting this week, starting Sunday, that we’ve still got to get through, and the mentality the boys are showing at the moment, we’re going to tackle these games in the same way.
