Chelsea forward Cole Palmer has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for September 2024 after a brilliant run of performances for the Blues.
Softfootball notes that Palmer was outstanding throughout the month, leading the Premier League in both goals and overall goal involvements.
The 22-year-old scored five goals and provided one assist in four league appearances in September, making him one of the standout players in the division.

His most memorable performance came against Brighton & Hove Albion, where he scored four goals in a stunning 21-minute spell. That achievement made him the first player in Premier League history to score four times in the first half of a league match.
Palmer also provided an assist in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace and scored again in the Blues’ 3-0 win away at West Ham United.
This is the second time Palmer has won the EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Month award, after first receiving the honour in April 2024. It also means he has now won two of the last three available monthly awards.
Palmer topped an eight-man shortlist after votes from the public were combined with the decisions of a panel of football experts.
The England international has already started October strongly, providing an assist in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.
He will now look to add to his impressive tally of 11 goal involvements when Chelsea return to Premier League action against Liverpool on Sunday, October 20.
It was also a double celebration for Chelsea, as Enzo Maresca was named Premier League Manager of the Month.
Maresca won the award in only his second month as a Premier League head coach after guiding Chelsea through September unbeaten, with three wins and one draw.
