Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu is reportedly close to completing a permanent transfer to Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor.

Softfootball reports that the Nigerian forward is on the verge of returning to the Turkish side after previously enjoying a successful spell with the club. His potential permanent move would bring an end to another chapter in his career.

Onuachu impressed during his earlier time at Trabzonspor, establishing himself as a dangerous target man and a consistent source of goals. His physical presence and ability to finish inside the box made him a popular figure among supporters.

The striker later moved to England but has remained linked with a return to Turkey. Trabzonspor’s renewed interest suggests the club still sees him as an important attacking option and believes he can reproduce his earlier impact.

For Onuachu, a permanent move could provide the stability needed to regain regular playing time and maintain his place in the Super Eagles setup. Consistent football will be particularly important as Nigeria continues preparations for major international assignments.

The transfer is not yet officially completed, but negotiations are reportedly at an advanced stage. Further developments should emerge soon as the clubs continue discussions over the next steps.
