Manchester City have officially confirmed the signing of Egyptian international Omar Marmoush from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal reportedly worth £59 million. The 25-year-old forward has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2029.

The versatile attacker can play as a striker or on either wing and has been one of the standout performers in the Bundesliga this season.

Speaking after completing the transfer, Marmoush described joining Manchester City as a dream come true. He said the opportunity to work under Pep Guardiola and compete alongside world-class players made the decision an easy one.

The Egyptian international also revealed his ambition to help City win more trophies while continuing to improve his game under Guardiola’s guidance.

City believe Marmoush’s pace, creativity and eye for goal will add another dimension to their attack as they chase success in domestic and European competitions this season.
