Super Eagles and Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye linked up with Cameroon international and Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana, who is currently on loan at Trabzonspor.
Both goalkeepers shared a warm embrace and exchanged a few words before Udinese faced Trabzonspor in a pre‑season friendly as part of their preparations for the new season.
Softfootball had gathered in July 2026 that André Onana completed a one‑year loan move from Manchester United to Trabzonspor for the 2026/27 season.
The agreement does not include a purchase option or obligation to buy, meaning the Cameroonian shot‑stopper is expected to return to Old Trafford in 2027.
The loan also contains performance‑related payments worth up to £1.3 million, while Trabzonspor will cover the majority of his wages throughout the campaign.
