Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has dismissed the possibility of Paul Pogba returning to the club’s first-team plans despite the midfielder’s reduced doping ban.
Softfootball reports that Juventus have already moved on from the French midfielder, with the club insisting their current squad is complete following significant investment in new players.

Pogba, whose four-year suspension for doping was reduced to 18 months, recently stated that he expects to remain with the Bianconeri and be available for selection when he becomes eligible to play again in March.
However, Giuntoli made it clear after Juventus’ victory over Lazio that there are no plans to reintegrate the former Manchester United star into the squad.
The club official expressed satisfaction with Juventus’ progress this season, highlighting the team’s strong start despite undergoing major changes during the summer transfer window.
He noted that the club had assembled a largely new squad and believes the continuity shown so far provides optimism for the remainder of the campaign.
Addressing Pogba’s situation, Giuntoli acknowledged the midfielder’s quality but stressed that his lengthy absence from competitive football and Juventus’ investment in other players means there is no place for him in the current setup.
Pogba has not played a competitive match since testing positive for a banned substance in 2023, with his future now expected to lie away from Turin once he becomes eligible to return to football.
