Juventus have reached an agreement with Tottenham to sign Guglielmo Vicario on loan, with the Italian goalkeeper set to move to Turin today.
Tottenham have accepted Juventus’ loan proposal, which includes a buy option clause that is not mandatory. Vicario wanted the move and has now been given the green light to leave Spurs.
The goalkeeper is expected in Turin today to undergo his medical before completing the necessary paperwork and signing his Juventus contract.
The move comes shortly after Juventus ended their pursuit of Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez following direct talks with the Aston Villa goalkeeper’s representatives.

Softfootball reported that Juventus considered Villa’s asking price too high and subsequently decided to abandon the deal, turning their attention to Vicario instead.
Vicario will now become Juventus’ new goalkeeper as the club reshapes its options between the posts.
Meanwhile, Michele Di Gregorio is expected to leave Juventus on loan until June, with the goalkeeper having been offered to Olympique Marseille and another club abroad.
Juventus are therefore set for significant changes in the goalkeeping department ahead of the new season.
