Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali has dismissed speculation over a possible managerial change, insisting Luciano Spalletti remains fully trusted by the club despite the pressure surrounding his position.

“We are not planning any change of manager. Luciano Spalletti is an extraordinary coach,” Carnevali told Radio Anch’io lo Sport. “Changing the coach is not part of my usual plans.”

Softfootball reports that Carnevali’s comments come after Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw by AC Milan in a hard-fought Serie A clash, with the Turin side conceding a stoppage-time equaliser after appearing set to claim all three points.

Milan took the lead in the 68th minute when Alphadjo Cissé finished calmly after being played through by Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze. The assist was Chukwueze’s second of the Serie A campaign, highlighting his growing influence under Ruben Amorim.

Juventus refused to give up, however, and Federico Gatti rescued a point in the 92nd minute with a powerful header from Teun Koopmeiners’ delivery. The result left both teams with seven points after three league matches.

The draw extended Juventus’ unbeaten run in Serie A at the time, although their later 3-2 defeat to Sassuolo has increased scrutiny around the team’s early-season form.

Despite that setback, Carnevali has made it clear that replacing Spalletti is not currently under consideration. The Juventus hierarchy instead appears determined to give the experienced coach time to implement his ideas and improve the team’s consistency.

For Spalletti, the message from above is clear: the club continues to believe in his ability to turn Juventus into genuine contenders.
