Super Falcons head coach Justin Madugu has declared that his side knows exactly what is at stake in their decisive 2026 WAFCON Group C clash against Egypt, emphasising that the team is fully focused on securing a positive result.
Speaking during his pre‑match press conference, Madugu underlined the seriousness of the encounter and the team’s determination to deliver. In his statement, he said:
“We all know what is at stake, and we’re doing our best to ensure that we get the right result,”
Nigeria will need to defeat Egypt to cement their place in the next stage of the tournament. However, Softfootball understands that if Malawi defeats Zambia, the Super Falcons will most likely need only a draw to qualify for the knockout phase.
