Alex Iwobi has expressed confidence that Fulham can secure a positive result against league leaders Liverpool, insisting his side have nothing to fear heading into the Premier League clash.
The Super Eagles midfielder is enjoying arguably the best form of his career, having already contributed five goals and three assists in the league this season.
Softfootball has learned that Iwobi shared his belief in Fulham’s chances in an interview. He said:
It shows we have the ability to compete with anyone. We are not scared. Hopefully it will be the same against Liverpool.
The Nigerian made clear that Fulham won’t be heading to Anfield simply to defend, insisting the team is targeting a positive outcome. He added:
We are going there to get a result.
Iwobi has been one of Fulham’s standout performers this season, earning praise for his creativity, work rate, and ability to influence matches from midfield. His confidence reflects the growing belief within Marco Silva’s squad that they can compete with the Premier League’s strongest teams.
