Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has praised new teammate Omar Marmoush after the Egyptian forward impressed during his debut against Chelsea.
Omar Marmoush joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt and made his first appearance as Pep Guardiola’s side came from behind to defeat Chelsea 3 – 1 in the Premier League. Softfootball gathered that Haaland was impressed by the attacker’s confidence and believes he can become an important player for the club.
Speaking after the match, Erling Haaland highlighted Marmoush’s ability and explained that City’s decision to sign him was based on his special qualities.
The Norwegian striker added that adapting quickly to a new team is important, especially with several key matches ahead, and believes Omar Marmoush will benefit from playing alongside world-class players.
Marmoush enjoyed an outstanding first half of the season in Germany with Frankfurt before completing his move to the Premier League champions.
