Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that overturning their deficit against Real Madrid in the Champions League will be extremely difficult.
The Citizens lost the first leg 3-2 at home and now face a daunting task at the Santiago Bernabeu. Softfootball reports that Guardiola believes their chances of progression are minimal.
The Spanish tactician was honest about the team’s struggles this season, describing their performances as poor compared to previous years.
He noted that while a recent positive result provided some momentum, it does not change the harsh reality of their current form and the magnitude of the challenge ahead in Madrid.

He explained the situation by stating:
The margin to win at the Bernabeu from that position, everybody knows, the percentage to go through, we arrive at one per cent. Or I don’t know what, but it will be minimal. But as much as you have a chance we will try, that’s for sure.
