Real Madrid defender Fran García is set to join Real Betis after the two clubs reached a full agreement, with the transfer now effectively complete, Softfootball confirms.
The agreement will see Real Betis pay €4 million for 50% of García’s economic rights, allowing Real Madrid to retain a significant stake in the player’s future. Should Betis sell the 26-year-old later, Los Blancos will receive half of any future transfer fee.
Fran García is expected to sign a four-year contract at the Benito Villamarín, keeping him at the club until 2030 under manager Manuel Pellegrini.

The move comes shortly after renewed speculation linked Real Madrid with a future move for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, following comments from his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, who admitted that “anyone would want to play for Madrid” while insisting his son remains happy at City.
With García’s departure now imminent, Real Madrid continue reshaping their squad ahead of the new campaign while maintaining long-term control over the defender’s future.
