Barcelona and Spanish attacking midfielder Fermín López has reacted to Rodri’s potential transfer to Barcelona, after Softfootball confirmed the midfielder was no longer heading to Real Madrid.

Speaking to the media, Fermín López said:
Everyone knows that Rodri is an extraordinary player and was a teammate of mine on the national team. But these are things that, if they are meant to happen, will happen, and I don’t want to get involved.
Meanwhile, Manchester City have rejected Barcelona’s opening bid of around €45 million for Rodri, with City understood to be seeking a fee closer to €75 million for the Spanish midfielder.
