Dusan Vlahović has finally reached an agreement on personal terms with Beşiktaş, with the Serbian striker set to sign a three-year contract with the Turkish club, Softfootball reports.
This comes after Fiorentina are also edging closer to signing Portuguese right-back João Mário from Juventus, with negotiations between the clubs now in their final stages.
The deal will reportedly be worth €8 million per season, with performance-related bonuses capable of taking his annual earnings to €10 million. Vlahović and his agent could also receive a significant signing-on fee as part of the agreement.
According to reports from A Spor, Beşiktaş president Serdal Adalı travelled to Belgrade to finalise the paperwork for the transfer. He is expected to return to Istanbul’s Atatürk General Aviation Terminal on Wednesday, August 12, at 2:30pm local time.
The move will bring Vlahović’s Serie A career to an end after the 26-year-old arrived in Italy from Partizan Belgrade in 2018 to join Fiorentina.
He later earned a move to Juventus in January 2022 for €85.4 million, arriving in Turin amid a contract dispute with Fiorentina.
Vlahović is now set for a new chapter in Turkey, with Beşiktaş closing in on the completion of the deal.
