Bayern Munich have made their position clear on Michael Olise, with the German giants determined to keep the France international despite reported interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has highlighted Olise’s importance to Bayern, pointing out that the winger remains under contract with the Bundesliga champions until 2029.
At some point, the club will have to sit down with him and present him with an appropriate offer,
Rummenigge said, while describing Olise as an exceptional player in his position.
The comments come amid continued speculation surrounding the 24-year-old, who has attracted attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs following his outstanding performances for Bayern.
Softfootball reports that Bayern have repeatedly indicated that Olise is not available for transfer, with both Liverpool and Real Madrid previously linked with attempts to sign the winger. Reports in September also stated that Bayern had warned both clubs that Olise would not be sold regardless of the fee offered.
Olise’s current contract contains no release clause, giving Bayern significant control over his future. The club are also expected to discuss improved terms with the player at some point, although Rummenigge’s comments suggest there is no immediate urgency given the length of his existing agreement.
Since joining Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024, Olise has developed into one of the club’s key attacking players. His performances have strengthened his reputation internationally and increased interest in his services.
For now, Bayern’s stance remains firm: Olise is under contract until 2029 and the club want to retain the winger rather than entertain offers from Liverpool, Real Madrid or any other interested side.
