Beşiktaş are closing in on the signing of Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard after reaching the final stages of negotiations with the Premier League champions.

The Turkish giants have agreed a deal worth €20 million with Arsenal, consisting of an initial €18 million fee plus a further €2 million in performance-related add-ons. The agreement also includes a contract running until 2029, with an option to extend, leaving only Trossard’s final approval following Belgium’s exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Previously, Softfootball reported that Beşiktaş had reached a club-to-club agreement with Arsenal, with talks progressing rapidly toward a full agreement.

Trossard is expected to leave the Emirates after playing a key role in Arsenal’s recent success. Since arriving from Brighton in 2023, the Belgian international has registered 36 goals and 34 assists in 176 appearances, helping the Gunners secure the Premier League title while becoming one of Mikel Arteta’s most dependable attacking options.

With just one year remaining on his contract and at 31 years of age, Arsenal view the move as an opportunity to refresh their squad while generating funds for younger attacking reinforcements. Players such as Morgan Rogers and Bradley Barcola have been linked as potential replacements on the left flank.

For Beşiktaş, the signing would represent a major statement of intent. The experienced winger brings proven quality, versatility, and a winning mentality as the Turkish club looks to strengthen its squad for both the Süper Lig title race and European competition.

An official announcement is expected once Trossard gives his final approval and the remaining paperwork is completed.
