Napoli coach Antonio Conte has expressed satisfaction with his side’s performance in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Udinese, despite having to come from behind to secure the victory.
Napoli found themselves trailing early on before responding with control and composure to turn the game decisively in their favor.
Softfootball can confirm that Conte broke down his side’s performance in detail while speaking to DAZN after the match. He explained:
We should not let the result confuse us, we were trailing 1-0, but that was a fluke because we controlled the game from start to finish.
I didn’t even see the incident leading to the penalty.
Conte praised his players’ character and insisted the performance reflects the identity he’s trying to build at the club. He stressed:
We played with character and quality, we had chances in the first half that were not taken, we need to continue along this path.
Udinese are a very good side and I saw a strong response from my lads.
