Karim Benzema is set to miss 10 to15 days with an adductor injury, dealing a significant blow to Al Hilal SFC during a tight Saudi Pro League title race. Softfootball reports.
According to a post shared by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his official X handle, the injury concerns extend beyond Benzema, as Salem Al-Dawsari is expected to be sidelined for 3 to 4 weeks, while Al-Tambakti is set to miss the next match with a hamstring issue.
Romano reported:
Karim Benzema will be out for minimum 10 to 15 days with adductor muscle injury. Al Hilal also confirm Al-Dawsari suffered an injury, out for 3-4 weeks; hamstring injury also for Al-Tambakti, out for the next game.
The club confirmed that the former Ballon d’Or winner wil not travel with the squad to Al-Qassim due to pain in his adductor muscle and was scheduled for a medical scan on February 24, 2026, to assess the severity.

Benzema’s absence comes at a critical stage of the season, with Al Hilal trailing league leaders Al Nassr FC by just one point after 22 matches.
Benzema recently completed a surprise mid-season move to Al Hilal after terminating his contract with Al Ittihad Club, signing a deal until June 2027. His partnership with Al-Dawsari was instrumental in the 6-0 thrashing of Al Okhdood, making their absence a major concern in the title chase.
