FC Barcelona have once again embraced their cultural roots by taking a leading role in Sant Jordi Day in a post by the club official x handle, setting up a dedicated stand at Rambla Catalunya in the heart of the city.
They posted:
Today is Sant Jordi, one of the most beautiful days of the year in Catalunya. We celebrate by giving each other roses, books, and love. 🌹📚❤️ Join us in this wonderful tradition. Cat is really excited about it!
The celebration comes shortly after Frenkie de Jong made history by becoming the club’s most-capped Dutch player during Barcelona’s 1-0 victory over RC Celta de Vigo at the Spotify Camp Nou, underlining a week of milestones both on and off the field for Barça.

Softfootball gathered that The club’s space, located at the junction of Rambla Catalunya and Rosselló, has been designed as a lively cultural and social meeting point.
Open from 9am to 8pm, the stand features charity roses, blaugrana wristbands, and a full schedule of book-signings involving Barça-related publications.
Supporters also have the opportunity to interact with club representatives and athletes from various sections, while the beloved mascot CAT adds to the festive atmosphere, especially for younger fans.

The initiative highlights Barcelona’s identity as “more than a club,” reinforcing its deep connection to Catalan culture, language, and community values. Following the success of last year’s edition, the club continues to blend football with tradition, creating a unique experience for fans beyond the pitch.
