Softfootball Nigeria gathered that both fixtures will be crucial, as the three‑time African champions aim to make a strong start in their quest to secure a place at the 2027 AFCON tournament.
This will also be the Super Eagles’ first set of matches since the mass resignation of NFF President Ibrahim Gusau and members of the Executive Committee, marking a new chapter for Nigerian football as the team steps into the qualifiers under a transitional administrative structure.
