Manchester United’s revival under Michael Carrick continues to gather momentum, and confidence around Old Trafford has rarely been higher. In the space of two Premier League weeks, United have beaten both Manchester City and Arsenal, doing so in style.
A 2–0 derby win over City was followed by a thrilling 3–2 victory at the Emirates, where goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu and a stunning Matheus Cunha strike handed Arsenal their first home defeat of the season.

However, Carrick now faces a different type of test. Fulham arrive at Old Trafford in good form, having lost just once in their last eight matches in all competitions. Marco Silva’s side sit seventh, only four points off the top four, and have taken 10 points from their last five away league games.
Earlier this season, Fulham held United to a 1–1 draw, and they won at Old Trafford as recently as February 2024.
