Manchester United appeared destined to claim back-to-back away Premier League victories after beating Ipswich Town 5-2 at Old Trafford. Benjamin Sesko restored their lead just five minutes after Tyrique George had brought Everton level in the 83rd minute. However, Maitland-Niles had the final say, firing a composed effort from the edge of the box beyond Andre Onana to send the home supporters into wild celebrations.
United had initially taken control through Bryan Mbeumo, whose 46th-minute opener came after an impressive attacking sequence involving Kobbie Mainoo. The midfielder was outstanding throughout the contest, dictating play and helping United transition quickly from defence into attack.
