2 Min Read

Marcus Rashford has reflected on the challenges he faced during his time at Manchester United, admitting that being in an inconsistent environment made it difficult for him to perform at his best.

Softfootball understands that Rashford endured a tough spell under United’s new coach, Ruben Amorim, which eventually prompted him to leave the club on loan to Aston Villa last season. After a brief but promising stint, the English forward made another move this summer ,this time to Barcelona on loan, with an option to buy.

According to top journalist Fabrizio Romano who provided the latest on the englishman via his official X handle, Romano posted;

Marcus Rashford: I feel like I’ve been in an inconsistent environment for a very, very long time. So it’s even more difficult to be consistent. I think consistency is what I need to bring into my game. And yeah, I’m looking to do that, told ITV.

Since joining Barcelona, Rashford has rediscovered his form and confidence. The 27-year-old has been instrumental in several key wins for the Catalan side, including their thrilling 2-1 victory over Newcastle in the UEFA Champions League, where he scored both goals. He also netted Barca’s only goal in their 4-1 defeat to Sevilla, a match that, despite the result, showcased his growing influence in the team.

Softfootball also understands that Barcelona are already impressed by Rashford’s performances and are open to making his loan move permanent if he continues to deliver at this level. His resurgence in Spain has not only reignited his career but also reminded fans of the world-class talent he possesses when surrounded by the right system and stability.
