Benjamin Sesko says scoring his first-ever goal at Old Trafford was a “dream come true,” as the Slovenian striker helped Manchester United to a 2-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday, Softfootball reports.
The 21-year-old, who joined the red devils from RB Leipzig this summer, followed up his first goal for the Reds in last weekend 3-1 defeat at brentford with another instinctive strike, this time in front of the Stretford End. His finish doubled United’s lead after Mason Mount had opened the scoring, sealing a comfortable win for Ruben Amorim’s side in his 50th game in charge.

After the game, speaking to MUTV via the team’s official website, Sesko could hardly hide his delight at the moment, he said;
“It feels amazing. It feels even better because I’ve helped the team to come to the end and to win the game. The goal, the atmosphere afterwards was unbelievable.
It’s something that I’ve been dreaming about, jumping high at the stadium like that, and yeah – [my] dreams came true.
While enjoying the special moment, Sesko was quick to stress that this is only the beginning. The striker assured fans that there is still a lot more to come from him as he continues to adapt to life in England, he stated;
In the end, this is my job; trying to score as many goals as possible, trying to win the games, trying to help the team in every single situation, and hopefully [there are] more moments like this [to come].
No, not yet [the best of me]. There is loads still to come, definitely. I’m still getting used to it more and more, to read the players, to connect with them even more. I believe I can be even better and I will try to show it.

Sesko admitted the step up from the Bundesliga to the Premier League has been a challenge, particularly adjusting to the speed and physicality of English football, but insists he is enjoying every part of the journey so far, he said;
“I think it’s way quicker, you have less time in general, I think this is one of the biggest changes I would say, and obviously also the physicality, everyone is really physical and athletic.
I am getting used to it and I will come to the level of this soon. To play for a club like this or even train every single day, it’s an obvious pleasure. I’m looking forward to be back [after the international break].
Interstingly, Benjamin Sesko wasnt the only one that scored his first premier league goal for Manchester United at old trafford , Mason Mount who opened the scoring for the Red Devils also scored his first , Manchester United via their official X handle, confirmed this moment saying the english player has scored his first pl goal at old trafford, see post below;
